Day 8 - A virtual happening on a street in England
Amy Sharrocks - heading for a fall
On 28 July at 1pm, I will fall.
Whatever happens between now and then, this thing is certain: at 1:01pm, I will be flat on my face. You can rely on me. I was thinking of things brewing. Of potions, of beer, of babies and tea and trouble. Of the dread that comes before a fall, when you know it's coming, the drop in your stomach, the wake in the night. The time spent contemplating the drop, before you step off whatever ledge you're on, before you make a move or it happens.
Often, of course, it all turns out much better than you feared. But not always.
Falling is a spectator sport. So if you want to see me fall, text me.
I’ll fall for you.
